Northern Light Mercy Hospital located in Portland, Maine has openings for Surgical Techs and Endoscopy Techs. Full-time and part-time shifts are available. CST requirements: Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer certification is required. Graduate of Surgical Technology School is required, and National certification required. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and operating room standards and procedures required. Incumbent must have the ability to concentrate on detail and adjust quickly to changes. Endo Tech requirements: Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer certification is required A High School Diploma or GED required. Endoscopy or Surgical Technician certification preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively including under duress. Ability to take direction from multiple sources, and to prioritize appropriately.
