Summary For this positions we are seeking candidates with pediatric experience. Position Summary Position is responsible for assisting with total patient care by performing clinical duties under the supervision of physicians and the clinical manager. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Diploma from an approved practical nursing program. License/Certifications: Active State of Maine Nursing License or eligible for licensure. Current BLS required. Experience: Two years' LPN experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology. Familiarity with health care systems, regulations, policies and functions. Understanding of documentation standards. Knowledge of infectious disease management and control safety standards. Skill in reading and following written and oral medical orders. Skill in handling a number of tasks simultaneously. Ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug dosages. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and diverse patient populations. Proficient computer skills and knowledge of the electronic medical record. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
