For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $5,000 sign on for New Grad Registered Nurses, $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible experienced Registered Nurses with 1-3 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 3 years of experience!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

    Maine Medical Partners is looking for a compassionate pediatric nurse to join our team.

    The RN selected for this position is expected to obtain their asthma education certification within one year of joining the practice. They will provide patient education, answer triage calls, and administer injections and nebulizers in the clinic in addition to assisting with spirometry.

    This position offers 8-hour days for 32 hours a week with some flexibility on how that is distributed through the week. Get your weekends, nights, and holidays back and join our team. Convenient parking available.

    • Position Summary

      • Under the direction of physicians, this position is responsible for assisting with total patient care by performing clinical duties, responding to patient telephone inquiries, and coordinating care both at the office and at outside facilities.

      • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

        • Education: Completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing.

        • License/Certifications: Active State of Maine Nursing License or eligible for licensure. Current BLS required

        • Experience: Two Years of experience preferred.

        • Knowledge of nursing processes; health care systems, structure and functions; and community resources.

        • Knowledge of chart/medical record documentation requirements and federal/state laws related to release of health care information.

        • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors and other staff.

        • Skill in time management, problem solving, multitasking, prioritizing and medical care coordination.

        • Ability to read and interpret physicians? orders and notes from other providers.

        • Ability to calculate and administer drug dosages and injections and measure results.

        • Ability to organize and accomplish multiple tasks and to have the flexibility to meet changing demands on a daily basis.

        • Ability to maintain a professional manner even under stressful situations.

        • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

        • Proficient computer skills.
