Job Description:
Summary
Position Summary
This position will support treating providers by triaging clinical
calls and MyChart inquiries, managing the refill line, conducting
prior authorizations for insurance approval, rooming pts,
performing vitals, coordinating care with other community
providers, and other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: N/A
License/Certifications: CRMA preferred.
Experience: Knowledge of mental illness and treatment practices and
procedures normally acquired through a minimum of 2 years'
experience, preferably in a mental health facility. Two years'
experience working with patients who were diagnosed with mental
illness.
Possess both effective, direct written and oral communication
skills.
Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively deal and interact
with a diverse group of personalities, providing direction, support
and collaboration with patient care.
Ability to accept direction, feedback and problem solving.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and attend to a high level of
detail in coordinating services for this patient population.
Must have written and verbal skills to write letters, complete
forms, make referrals, communicate with community agencies, I.e.
general assistance, case managers, Care Partners, etc.
Have basic adequate knowledge and ease of computer skills.
