This position supports our Inpatient Psychiatry and ED Annex

P6 (Pavilion 6) is the 21 bed Inpatient Psychiatry unit at Maine Medical Center. Over the years it has evolved from a traditional psychiatric unit to one that serves an increasingly medically complex population with a particular emphasis on Geriatric Psychiatry. All patients on P6 have both a major psychiatric illness, and medical comorbidities that require an inpatient level of care.

The ED Annex is a 12 bed section of the Maine Medical Center Emergency Department specializing in the care of patients with psychiatric illnesses in a quieter, more therapeutic environment.

We are excited to grow our interdisciplinary team and welcome all applicants from those new to Psychiatry, to those who have many years of experience. All staff will float between units to provide their expert care to our patients.
