In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical, surgical, and obstetrical settings. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-cantered care. -Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Med/Surg -unit.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, conditions, and progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans, post-discharge instructions, and self-care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient care goals and interventions.
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards of care.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in the implementation of life-saving measures.
  • Perform CPR, first aid, and other emergency interventions as required.
  • Serve as an advocate for patient needs, ensuring that the patients' rights and dignity are respected.
  • Address patient concerns and collaborate with the healthcare team to resolve any issues.Certifications/Requirements:-
