Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Physician Assistant for a
7-day locum tenens position in Connecticut. This assignment starts
on 12/22/2025, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday 9 AM to 5
PM, and Friday 9 AM to 3 PM. The ideal candidate will be
comfortable working with patients from newborns up to 18 years old,
handling a variety of pediatric cases including well/sick visits,
cold, cough, flu, asthma treatment, and occasional suture removal.
The Physician Assistant will be responsible for conducting
physicals, diagnosing conditions, providing treatment, and managing
patient care in a supportive environment with assistance from

comprehensive pediatric care for patients from newborn to 18 years
old Conduct well and sick visits, including physicals and
follow-ups Diagnose and treat common pediatric conditions such as
cold, cough, and flu Manage asthma treatment plans and provide
necessary interventions Perform occasional suture removal as needed
Review and interpret patient histories and physical examination
results Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans Educate
patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
Collaborate with medical assistants who prepare patient notes and
administer vaccines Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
using eClinicalWorks EHR system Adhere to all practice policies,
procedures, and safety protocols Ensure patient and family comfort
and satisfaction throughout visits Stay updated on the latest
advancements in pediatric careAdditional Information: Must be
licensed as a Physician Assistant in Connecticut Experience with
eClinicalWorks electronic health record system preferred Strong
clinical skills in pediatric primary care Ability to work
efficiently in a structured schedule with designated patient slots
Excellent communication skills for interacting with children and
their families Comfortable managing a diverse range of pediatric
cases No walk-in patients; all visits are scheduled Possibility of
