Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Nurse for our CVICU, an 8-bed specialized
unit in cardiovascular care.
Provides independent, comprehensive patient care, utilizing the
nursing process and evidence-based practices.
Manages complex cases post-open heart, thoracotomy, and vascular
surgeries, collaborating closely with cardiovascular surgeons.
Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication
administration, education, and documentation.
Ensures patient safety, quality care, and compliance with
regulations while optimizing unit operations and patient flow.
Requires BLS, RN license, ACLS within 6 months, and unit-specific
certifications like NIHSS, EKG, TNCC, ENPC/PALS.
Preferably holds a BSN and 1 year of relevant experience.
Work schedule varies; position is Per Diem As Needed.
