with LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC - This role is eligible for a Sign on

Job Overview This position provides a range of clinical social work
services to patients/clients and families in inpatient, ambulatory
and community settings utilizing individual, family or group
modalities and practicing within the guidelines of professional
social work ethics and standards. Participate s in multi-discipline
case conferences . Consult with agency care providers regarding
social service needs of clients and families. Location: Lowell
General Hospital Emergency Department- 295 Varnum Avenue - Lowell,
MA Hours: 40 hours days - 8:30a - 5:00p (with rotating weekends
every 6 - 7 weeks) Minimum Qualifications : 1. Master’s degree in
Social Work from an accredited institution . 2. Licensed Clinical
Social Worker (L CSW). 3. One (1 ) year of related experience .
Preferred Qualifications : 1. Three (3) years of related
experience. Duties & Responsibilities As a Social Worker here at
Lowell General, you will: Assesses selected cases within a defined
patient population to evaluate for potential psychosocial barriers
to quality patient outcomes and timely, safe, and appropriate
discharges Work with individuals who may have substance abuse,
mental health conditions, or housing instability Intervene in
situations where the treatment plan can be significantly impacted
by providing the patient/family with support and counseling
regarding social, emotional, and/or financial issues. Work
collaboratively with a healthcare team Focus on connecting patients
and their families to resources in the community Assist hospital
staff dealing with cases of abuse and neglect and report cases to
appropriate agencies/authorities. About Lowell General: For more
