Job Description:
Job Description Coverage Needed - July 25, 2025 - January 1,
2026 - Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with a
30-minute lunch - Possible extension Clinical Details - Worksite
Setting: Inpatient, ASC - Scope of Work: Administer anesthesia via
endotracheal tubes, manage respirators, arterial central and
peripheral venous lines, monitor and interpret data and waveforms,
and monitor vital signs - Case Mix: General Surgery, Spine,
Thoracic, Robotic, Neuro, Endoscopy, Orthopedics, Vascular,
Obstetrics; No Pediatrics - Operating Rooms: 12 in the main unit; 5
surgery centers, 4 GI - Trauma Level: Close to Level II or III, not
designated - MD to CRNA Coverage Ratio: 1/3 or 1/4 - CRNA Case
Limitations: Based on competency for spinal, epidural, and
occasional regional blocks; No cardiac cases - Average
Volume/Acuity: All specialties except transplant; Designated
cardiac team on staff; Level 3 trauma cases - Surgery center does
sports medicine, gyn, urology, eyes - Anesthesia Model: Care team
approach - EMR: Epic Requirements - Active Connecticut state
license - Board Certification - ACLS, BLS - Local Providers -
Highly Preferred
