ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Portland, Maine. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM • 36 guaranteed weekly hours • 1:4 weekend rotation with 12-hour shifts • One overnight trauma call required from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Specialty team call scheduled per team rules (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho) • Minimum 3 years Level 1 trauma experience required • At least 2 years of general operating room experience required • CNOR certification preferred • Must demonstrate expertise in EGS, burns, trauma, DaVinci Robotics, thoracic, and liver surgeries • 1:1 patient ratio • Work with Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot equipment • EMR system: Epic • Preferred experience in General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular • Must be flexible, accountable, timely, and a team player • Teal scrubs issued by the hospital • Start dates available: 1/5 or 1/12 or sooner Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a Level One Trauma Center with a 26-bed operating room department.
