Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 26 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapy/n/n Location/n Maine /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM /n/nJob Description/n The Respiratory Therapist will provide care in a variety of settings, including NICU, PICU, pediatric acute care, emergency department, and adult acute and critical care. This role requires flexibility and the ability to work efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary team. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Administer respiratory therapy procedures as prescribed for patients of various ages. /n - Monitor and assess patient conditions, modifying treatment plans as necessary. /n - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care. /n - Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and management. /n - Maintain and operate respiratory equipment according to protocols. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - 3 years of experience in a tertiary, teaching hospital. /n - Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). /n - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) for NICU preferred. /n - Experience in cardiothoracic, NICU, and PICU settings is preferred. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
