Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/01/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position requiring a ME or compact RN license and 2 years of relevant experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the Nursing Float Pool within a hospital setting - Float to various Med/Surg Telemetry units as needed - Patient population includes adult Med/Surg and telemetry cases - Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM - May be required to float between facilities within a 25-mile radius - Responsible for providing comprehensive care to Med/Surg and telemetry patients - Assignment does not accept travel pairs or groups - Local travelers within 90 miles may be considered but are not eligible for renewals or extensions - Returning employees or travelers must disclose employment within the past 12 months at any facility in the health system - All required documentation must be completed prior to assignment start /n /n Requirements/n - Active ME or compact RN license required - Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg Tele nursing experience - Driver’s License required for consideration /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-656747.
