ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Portland, Maine. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 21 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location Maine Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with expected weekend hours and on-call requirements. Job Description The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide respiratory care to a variety of patients across different care settings, including NICU, PICU, acute care pediatrics, emergency department, and adult acute and critical care. The role demands flexibility and a team-oriented attitude while ensuring high-quality patient care. Responsibilities - Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed. - Monitor patients for responses to therapy and adjust as necessary. - Provide emergency treatment as required to maintain life support. - Collaborate with medical staff to assess and recommend therapeutic interventions. - Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. - BLS certification required; ACLS preferred; NRP for NICU. - Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist. - Tertiary, teaching hospital experience preferred.
