Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Portland, Maine. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/01/2026 - Duration: 8 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Tele /n/n Job Details: /n • Work day or night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week /n• Patient ratios: Day shift Med/Surg 1:4-5, Night shift Med/Surg 1:5-6, Day and Night IMC 3:1 /n• Float requirements to IMC level of care units within facility and med/surg units as needed based on unit need and skill /n• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience required /n• No call requirements /n• Required certifications: BLS /n• Complete MMC mandatory onboarding education /n• Must have experience with tracheostomy care and reading/interpreting telemetry strips /n• IMC RNs must have ventilator experience /n• Work with equipment including ventilators, BiPaP, CPAP, epidural pumps, IV pumps, specialty beds, PCA pumps, VAC dressings, and trach care/maintenance /n• Use Epic EMR system /n• Care for patients with respiratory conditions, medical telemetry, some surgical patients, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, failure to thrive, respiratory failure, and acute on chronic medical conditions /n• Professional dress code required - no unprofessional clothing or shirts with logos other than hospital related /n• Position emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, good communication, and patient-centered care /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility features a 43-bed medical telemetry and intermediate care unit located on Bean 5. The facility provides comprehensive care for patients with complex medical conditions requiring telemetry monitoring and intermediate-level care.
