Utilizing the nursing process, you will deliver patient care under the guidance of licensed professionals authorized by a State regulatory board to prescribe treatments and medications, or under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). You will maintain accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients and collaborate with various departments to coordinate patient care effectively. Position Overview: Minimum Qualifications: Education: Completion of an accredited practical nursing program; equivalent educational experience and successful licensure may also be considered. Licensure: You are responsible for obtaining and keeping a current LPN license in the state where you perform nursing duties, adhering to all requirements set by the State Board of Nursing. Experience: Open to both new and seasoned LPNs. Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or successful completion of the course within 30 days of employment. Note: Depending on the specific position or unit, additional certifications may be required, or you may need to acquire them within a designated timeframe: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization) S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules Other unit-specific certifications as necessary Physical Requirements: The role involves standing and walking for most of the shift, along with considerable bending, stooping, and the ability to lift and turn patients with assistance.
