Job Title: Pediatrics Office Nurse (RN) Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Pediatrics/Triage Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Pediatric experience required; Triage/Telephone experience preferred License: New Hampshire RN license (or compact) Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Ability to communicate effectively with patients regarding medication, medical history, and diagnosis - Experience with all age groups - Critical Access Hospital or Clinic/Medical Office experience preferred Description: The Pediatrics Office Nurse (RN) is responsible for prescribing and coordinating professional nursing care for assigned patients. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care within accepted practices, medical direction, and hospital policies. The Office Nurse will utilize the nursing process to ensure optimal outcomes for patients. Patient care includes direct assessment and evaluation of nursing interventions. Collaboration with physicians and healthcare professionals is essential to develop individualized patient care plans. Accurate documentation and reporting of patients' conditions, treatments, and progress is mandatory. Medications and treatments will be administered as prescribed, adhering to hospital protocols.
