Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12
day center serving students with Severe Cognitive Impairment (SCI)
in Canton, MI. This onsite role requires expertise in AAC and
assistive technology (AT) devices to support communication
development. The contract runs through the current school year,
providing an opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team in a
focused educational setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech
and language evaluations and deliver individualized therapy for
students with SCI Utilize AAC and AT devices to enhance student
communication abilities Manage a caseload in accordance with
Michigans maximum guidelines (up to 60 students) Collaborate with
educators and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP
goals Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for
compliance and communication with families Desired Qualifications:
Valid Michigan state license to practice as an SLP Certificate of
Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA strongly preferred Experience
working with K-12 students, particularly those with severe
cognitive impairments Proficiency in AAC and AT systems Onsite
availability, as remote or hybrid work is not offered No
eligibility for SLP clinicians on clinical fellowship (SLP-CF) or
Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) Location: Canton,
