Job Description MLS/MT/MLT Locations: Biddeford, Maine Sign-on bonus (2 years of exp receive up to $15K, less than 2 years exp receive up to $7,500)! Relocation assistance! Our client is a clinical laboratory that provides comprehensive, dependable, quality laboratory services to hospitals, physicians, long-term care providers, other laboratories and health care organizations throughout Maine and New Hampshire. There are needs for all of the following: Generalist - night shift, 36 hrs (3x12's) Blood Bank - night shift, 36 hrs (3x12's) As a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for independently performing and monitoring laboratory testing of patient specimens according to established procedures and regulatory requirements. You will confirm, interpret, correlate and report normal and abnormal patient results. You will recognize technical, instrumental and/or physiological problems and initiate resolutions and assume responsibility for accuracy, quality control and required instrument maintenance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory, Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science required. Certification as a Medical Technologist (or equivalent) or Medical Laboratory Technician or as a categorical technologist (e.g., C, H, I, BB, M, HT, HTL) by a recognized professional organization (e.g., ASCP, AMT). Certification is required within 6 months of hire.
