in Keene, New Hampshire, 03431! ICU RN Needed Profession:
Registered Nurse Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
12-hour shifts Hours per Shift: 11.5 hours (19:00-07:00)
Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience in
critical care nursing, including telemetry License: Registered
Nurse License (Proof of State Residency Required) Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, CCRN preferred Must-Have: - Minimum of 1.5 years of
recent equivalent experience - Registered Nurse License or Compact
License - BLS Certification - ACLS Certification Description: ICU
RN needed for critical care nursing. The unit focuses on caring for
and supporting patients and their families. Advanced technological
systems and tools are used to monitor and treat critical illnesses.
Each patient room is equipped with an electric therapeutic bed and
emergency call system. Cardiac monitoring with additional
monitoring modules is available. There is a wall-mounted
documentation station and access to critical care equipment needs.
The patient population includes critically unstable patients
exhibiting acute coronary syndrome and unstable hemodynamics. The
goal is to provide optimum 24-hour critical care nursing to
medical/surgical patients requiring specialized treatment and
supportive measures. This is accomplished by the rapid recognition
and treatment of life-threatening complications with an emphasis on
total patient care. RN patient ratios are 2:1 or 1:1, depending on
patient acuity, isolation needs, and RN experience. Shifts include
day/night rotation, every other weekend, and rotating holidays. The
weekly hours may range from 36 to 48 hours. 5 Benefits of Travel
