ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Portland, Maine. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM • 36 guaranteed weekly hours • Weekend requirements: 1:4 weekends, 12-hour shifts • On-call requirements: one overnight call from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM for trauma call • Specialty team call scheduled per team rules (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho) • Minimum 2 years of Level 1 trauma experience required • Must have at least 2 years of experience with General, Pediatrics, DaVinci Robots, Burns, and HIPEC competence • CST certification required • Work in 40-bed OR with multiple specialties at Level One trauma center • 1:1 patient ratios • Work with equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot systems • Epic EMR system utilized • Preferred experience in General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular • Must be flexible, accountable, timely, and a team player • Teal scrubs issued from the hospital Facility: This is a Level One trauma center featuring a comprehensive 40-bed operating room suite with 26 beds and multiple specialty services. The facility specializes in complex surgical procedures including general surgery, pediatrics, burns, trauma, robotics, thoracic, and liver surgeries. The organization maintains state-of-the-art surgical equipment and technology to support advanced surgical procedures and emergency trauma care.
