School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
in Coventry, RI, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to fill
a medical leave position starting ASAP through April 2026, with the
possibility of extension. This contract role offers an opportunity
to support high school students in a dynamic educational
environment with full-time clinical support, including a
psychologist and social worker on site. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for high school
students Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop
individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide consultation and
intervention services to address students academic, behavioral, and
emotional needs Maintain accurate documentation and comply with
state and federal regulations Support crisis intervention and
contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings Qualifications and
Experience: Valid Rhode Island Psychologist License (RI Psych
certification) is required Experience working with K-12 student
populations, preferably high school age Strong knowledge of
psychological assessment tools and special education laws Effective
communication and collaboration skills within an educational
setting Ability to manage caseload efficiently and meet deadlines
Work Schedule and Details: Full-time, 35 hours per week (7:20 am
1:55 pm), Monday through Friday Contract duration: ASAP start to
April 2026, with possibility to extend Medical leave coverage
