Job Description:
Cedar Ridge Center, a branch of Genesis Healthcare, is seeking a
dedicated and experienced Staff Development Coordinator, RN to join
our team. Our center is committed to delivering top-tier medical
care and rehabilitation services, tailored to help our patients
regain strength and mobility. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for overseeing the training programs within our
facility, ensuring that staff are up-to-date with the latest
healthcare practices and compliant with regulatory requirements. As
a key facilitator of our education initiatives, you will enhance
the professional skills of our nursing staff, and ultimately,
improve the quality of patient care provided at our center.
Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs and training
for nursing staff. Coordinate and facilitate onboarding training
for new nursing hires and ongoing training for existing staff.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory
laws relating to staff training and certification. Assess training
needs through staff performance evaluations and consultation with
department managers. Maintain accurate documentation related to
staff qualifications, licensure, and continuing education.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to update training
materials based on the latest evidence-based practices. Strong
leadership and educational training skills Excellent communication
and interpersonal abilities Proficient in managing multiple
projects concurrently In-depth knowledge of current healthcare
training standards and nursing practices Ability to implement and
monitor compliance protocols Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of practice Certification in Nursing
Professional Development (NPD) is preferred
