Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU role requiring arterial line experience and recent Level 1 or 2 trauma background. Responsibilities - Position is in a Cardiovascular ICU setting - Day and night rotating shifts with a 36-hour work week - Critical care environment with advanced hemodynamic monitoring - Care for patients with ventilators and post-surgical lines, tubes, and drains - Involvement with arterial lines, PA lines, and waveform interpretation - Manage ventilated patients and those on pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications - Assist with line insertion and maintenance - Exposure to ICP monitoring, ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVD - No local candidates permitted; 75-mile radius rule applies - Involvement in caring for ventilated and post-surgical ICU patients - Must be comfortable with advanced line and drain management - Role includes interpretation of hemodynamic waveforms and assisting in specialized procedures Requirements - Active NH or compact RN license required - BLS and ACLS certifications required through the American Heart Association - Recent experience (within last 2 years) in Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma center required - Previous experience in critical care and advanced hemodynamic monitoring essential - Arterial line experience required Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-666944.
