Roles & Responsibilities Provide compassionate direct and indirect nursing care to post-acute, long-term, and rehabilitation residents Deliver IV therapy and expert wound care with attention to healing and comfort Perform geriatric assessments and contribute to individualized care planning Support residents with Alzheimer’s/Dementia using tailored verbal and non-verbal communication techniques Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with families and care partners Float between units (rehab, long-term care, dementia unit) and adapt to changing patient needs Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold quality and regulatory standards Qualifications Valid RN license (State of Maine or compact) — required Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent nursing education 1-3 years of RN clinical experience preferred in post-acute, long-term care, rehab, or similar settings Comfortable providing IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment Strong teamwork, communication skills, and flexibility to support 24/7 coverage Ability and willingness to float to other units as needed Education Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or an equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge & Skills Medical terminology and clinical assessment skills IV therapy and infusion management Advanced wound care techniques Geriatric assessment and management Alzheimer’s/Dementia behavior recognition and de-escalation Rehabilitation nursing principles and transitional care Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication abilities Benefits Generous housing stipend options for travel clinicians Medical, Dental & Vision coverage available 401K retirement savings plan to help you plan ahead Life Insurance and disability protection Paid time off so you can recharge and explore Travel reimbursement and licensure assistance Licensure assistance & reimbursement to keep you compliant Referral bonus program and a supportive team that values YOU Travel Perks: Explore Lewiston, ME Lewiston/Auburn offers a welcoming New England small-city vibe with plenty to explore on days off.
