We are seeking a dedicated Nocturnist Hospitalist to join a
well-established hospital medicine team in beautiful Shelton CT .
This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive
environment at a highly regarded facility, with a focus on
providing quality inpatient care during night shifts. Key
Responsibilities: Provide inpatient care during night shifts,
managing admissions from the emergency department and direct
admissions from outpatient providers. Perform nightly rounds on
inpatients and respond to codes and rapid response calls.
Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and support staff to ensure
high-quality patient care. Maintain comprehensive documentation of
patient care using electronic medical records (EMR). Participate in
quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees as needed.
Qualifications: MD or DO degree required. Board Certified or Board
Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Active CT medical
license (or ability to obtain prior to start). ACLS certification
preferred. Previous hospitalist or nocturnist experience is a plus
but not required. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule: No outpatient responsibilities. Average patient load:
