Healthcare System West Roxbury, MA $42 to $45 per hour Full time
contract April 1, 2026 through September 30, 2026 3 openings We are
hiring three Medical Technologists to support the VA Boston
Healthcare System in West Roxbury. This is an onsite hospital
laboratory role with stable scheduling and federal holidays
observed. What You Will Do • Perform chemistry testing on Abbott
Architect and Alinity platforms • Run hematology and coagulation
testing using Sysmex and ACL Top • Perform blood bank crossmatching
and antibody identification • Complete urinalysis and microbiology
testing • Document and report patient results in accordance with
CAP and VA standards • Perform daily and weekly quality control and
instrument maintenance • Follow strict patient identification and
safety protocols Schedule • Multiple shifts available including
days, evenings, and nights • Possible weekends and holidays • No on
call requirement Pay • $42 to $45 per hour based on experience •
Overtime paid at 1.5 times hourly rate • Consistent full time hours
Qualifications • National certification as MT, MLS, or CLS •
Minimum 3 years recent experience in chemistry, hematology, blood
bank, and microbiology • Strong knowledge of CAP standards and
quality control procedures • Ability to work independently in a
high volume hospital lab • Current BLS certification Requirements •
Proof of immunizations and TB screening • Background check •
