New Hampshire: USA Softball of New Hampshire is the official
governing body for amateur softball in the state. We are committed
to promoting the sport, developing players and officials, and
providing safe, competitive, and enjoyable softball experiences for
youth and adults. Position Summary: USA Softball of New Hampshire
is seeking knowledgeable and reliable softball umpires to officiate
games for youth, adult, and tournament play across the state.
Umpires play a critical role in maintaining fair competition,
enforcing USA Softball rules, and fostering a positive experience
for all participants. Responsibilities: Officiate games in
accordance with USA Softball rules and regulations. Make clear,
confident calls on plays while maintaining control of the game.
Communicate effectively and professionally with coaches, players,
and league officials. Attend scheduled umpire meetings, training,
and certification sessions as required. Travel to assigned fields
and arrive on time for scheduled games. Uphold the integrity of the
game while fostering a positive and respectful environment.
Qualifications: Knowledge of softball rules and mechanics (USA
Softball certification preferred or willing to obtain). Strong
communication and conflict resolution skills. Professional demeanor
and ability to maintain composure under pressure. Availability for
evenings and weekends during the season. Reliable transportation
and a working cell phone. Previous umpiring experience preferred
but not required; training provided. Compensation: Competitive
hourly pay based on experience and certification. Opportunities for
