A full-time occupational therapy position is available in the Albemarle, NC area, providing services across elementary, middle, and high school settings. This contract role is ideal for a certified and licensed occupational therapist passionate about supporting school-aged children in developing essential skills that enhance their academic and everyday functioning. Location: Albemarle, NC area Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high school environments. Develop individualized intervention plans based on student evaluations and assessments. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy goals as needed. Promote student independence and participation in school activities. Qualifications: Valid state licensure as an occupational therapist. Certification as a practicing occupational therapist. Experience working with children in school settings (elementary, middle, and high school). Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school staff.
