(CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating
Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A specialized opportunity is
available for surgical technologists with a focus on the operating
room setting. This contract role offers the chance to work in a
fast-paced environment where precision, teamwork, and advanced
technical skills are essential. Candidates with at least two years
of experience in surgical technology and trauma care will find this
position rewarding, particularly those skilled in Level 1 trauma
cases and various surgical specialties. Key Responsibilities:
Assist surgical teams during operations, ensuring sterile field
maintenance and surgical instrument management. Support trauma,
general surgery, orthopedic, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatric,
plastics, dental, and endovascular procedures. Operate and maintain
surgical equipment such as Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive
Robots. Participate in call rotations, including overnight trauma
coverage, following specialty team protocols. Qualifications and
Desired Experience: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
credential required. Minimum of two years experience in surgical
technology within an operating room. Level 1 trauma experience is a
must. Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records is
preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including scheduled
weekend shifts (one in four rotation) and 12-hour evening shifts
(11a-11p). Demonstrated accountability, flexibility, and teamwork
skills. Schedule: Shift: Evening, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Weekly Hours
Guaranteed: 36 hours Weekend Duty: One weekend in four Call: One
overnight call from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. for trauma coverage as
assigned Location:This role is based in Scarborough, Maine, close
to a vibrant hospital environment with a 26-bed operating unit
