A well-established OB/GYN practice in Cheshire, CT is seeking a highly dependable Nurse Manager / Lead Nurse to oversee daily clinical operations and serve as a key support to both providers and patients. This is a great opportunity for an RN or LPN who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting, takes ownership of their work, and brings strong critical thinking to every situation. What You Will Do • Serve as the primary clinical support for OB/GYN providers • Perform patient triage, assess symptoms, and determine appropriate next steps • Manage insurance authorizations, referrals, and clinical documentation • Coordinate patient care and ensure timely follow-up • Support daily clinical workflows and problem-solve operational issues • Maintain accurate, compliant patient records • Act as a reliable resource for both patients and internal staff • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and patient-centered environment What You Bring Required: • Active Connecticut RN or LPN license • 4–5 years of RN experience (or comparable LPN experience) • Prior experience in a clinical practice setting • OB/GYN or specialty experience strongly preferred • Ability to manage high patient volume and time-sensitive tasks • Strong decision-making, communication, and organizational skills • High level of professionalism, reliability, and independence Preferred: • BSN • Additional specialty experience Work Environment You will be joining a dedicated women’s health team committed to providing safe, personalized care across all stages of life. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cheshire, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
