Physical Therapist Location: South Portland, ME Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,702 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Home Health Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: State license required Certifications: BLS Certification required Must-Have: Valid driver's license, car, and auto insurance Description: A physical therapist is needed for a home health position. The role primarily involves working with adult patients but may occasionally include school-aged children. Common diagnoses include post-orthopedic surgeries, fall risks, deconditioning, and mobility issues. Experience with these patient types is essential. The expected patient load is 20-25 patients per physical therapist. Support within the department includes access to a scheduler and leadership available via phone. Traveling up to 100 miles may be required within the designated area. Scheduling includes a weekend rotation of 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks, with both Saturday and Sunday required. Availability for holidays is expected, with a commitment to work on major holidays and some minor holidays. Shift times are generally from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with a possibility for 4 ten-hour shifts. Dress code is business casual or solid-colored scrubs.
