PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated PT Assistant to join our dynamic team, focusing on post-hospital care to optimize recovery and enhance independence in our patients. This role requires an understanding of physical therapy practices and a compassionate approach to patient care. The PT Assistant will work closely under the supervision of our licensed Physical Therapists to administer therapeutic treatments as per the established plans and contribute to the patient assessment processes. Assist Physical Therapists in the administration of physical therapy treatment plans Help in patient assessment and record progress Prepare and maintain the therapy equipment and treatment area Educate patients and families about post-therapy care Implement therapeutic practices under therapist supervision Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the clinic Strong understanding of physical therapy modalities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle physical demands of the position High attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance CPR certification Licensed or certification eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant
