Job Description Seeking a compassionate Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care in a collaborative, patient-centered setting. Responsibilities include routine and urgent eye exams, diagnosing and treating vision problems, prescribing corrective lenses or medications, and coordinating care with other health professionals. Key Responsibilities: Perform eye exams and diagnose vision issues or eye conditions. Prescribe glasses, contacts, and medications. Provide pre- and post-operative eye care. Refer patients to specialists when needed. Maintain accurate patient records. Support patient education and preventive care Qualifications: Doctor of Optometry (OD), Licensed or eligible for licensure in Maine, Board Certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites, Community health experience preferred This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, team-based environment focused on whole-person care.
