Job Description:
Genesis HealthCare is actively seeking a dedicated Float Pool
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. This
position entails providing high-quality nursing care across various
departments within our healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate
will have the flexibility and adaptability to work in multiple
clinical settings, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and
support to patients while maintaining continuity of care. The role
requires effective communication and teamwork skills, as the LPN
will collaborate with various healthcare professionals to enhance

to making a difference. Provide nursing care and support across
multiple units as assigned. Administer medications and document
therapeutic effects. Take vital signs and conduct patient
assessments. Collaborate with healthcare team to plan and implement
patient care plans. Record patient history and symptoms. Educate
and update patients and families on medical treatments and care
plans. Assist with diagnostic tests and interpret results. Maintain
patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Participate in training and professional development activities.
Proficiency in administering medication and managing IVs. Ability
to operate standard medical equipment. Strong organizational and
communication skills. Effective teamwork and collaboration
abilities. Capable of handling high-stress situations calmly and
effectively. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in
the state of practice. CPR/BLS certification is required. ACLS
certification preferred.
