Registered Nurse (RN) | Charge Nurse Location: Bangor, ME Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,306 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Charge Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Skilled Nursing, Long Term Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours (0630-1700, Monday - Thursday) Experience: Minimum 3 years nursing experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Active RN license Description: The Charge Nurse role assists in the achievement of organizational and department-specific goals and objectives. This position works in a supportive manner as a Charge Nurse, quality management coordinator, and a resource for the unit. This position will provide backup support administratively in the absence of the Director. The Charge Nurse coordinates and directs total nursing care for an assigned group of residents/patients during a given period of duty. The Charge Nurse assumes full responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident/patient care. Participates in patient/resident and family teaching. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other resident/patient team members according to established policies, procedures, and standards. The RN is directly responsible to the Director of Nursing or designee. The RN maintains resident/patient privacy and confidentiality.
