Job Description Seeking BE/BC Family Medicine w/OB Physician to join a thriving rural practice including six Family Medicine physicians and four Advanced Practice Providers providing a full spectrum of care in Central Minnesota. Call approximately 1:6 weekdays with physician staffing Level IV Emergency Department during day and providing back-up call to APP overnights. Weekend call with primary hospitalist duties including admissions and rounding. Locums ED coverage means more time at home! Additional ED shifts available for those interested. Opportunity to grow obstetrical practice while providing OB back-up call to partners. Salary Range $250,000 - $300,000 The Clinic: Dedicated primary clinic nurse (CMA, LPN or RN) with support of float nursing Co-located workstations for provider/nursing with an additional office Opportunity for voice-recognition software (Dragon) or scribe Team support including RN nurse lead visits, diabetic education, health care home for complex patient care, legal aide, health care navigator for uninsured/underinsured Community health worker and community paramedic for patient engagement and home visits Prescription support programs for uninsured/underinsured In-room schedulers to promote continuity (follow-up appointments made for patients before they leave the room) Mental Health support including Integrated Behavioral Health with often same-day video consultation and Psychiatry chart review for medication management E-consults for specialty care to allow for PCP management without the wait for a formal consult The Community: Diverse population with a predominantly Latino minority.
