/n/nRequired Qualifications – ICU RN / Critical Care RN/n /n -
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut or compact
state (CT nursing license or multistate)/n - Minimum 2 years recent
ICU and/or Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience in acute
care/n - Current CPR, ACLS, and BLS certifications/n - NIH Stroke
Scale (NIHSS) certification, current/n - EPIC EMR experience
preferred (clinical documentation/acute care charting)/n - Flu and
COVID-19 vaccination (medical/religious exemptions considered)/n
/n/nResponsibilities – Critical Care & Emergency Nursing/n /n -
Float across ICU, Intermediate Unit, and Emergency Department to
provide high-quality critical care nursing/n - Assess, monitor, and
manage critically ill patients; respond rapidly to clinical
emergencies/n - Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced
monitoring as indicated for ICU/ED patients/n - Collaborate with
multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient
care plans/n - Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in
EPIC EMR and adhere to hospital policies and safety standards/n -
Educate patients and families on care plans, safety, and discharge
