In addition to working with another Psychiatrist on the inpatient unit, duties will also include consults to med/surg units and the hospital’s emergency department. Internal Medicine Hospitalists are available for consults to Psychiatry for patients with complex co-occurring medical issues. ECT certification is desirable; willingness to obtain certification required. Call is very reasonable, and night call is 99% by phone. Salary and benefits are very generous!
