Job Description OBGYN opening in Maine - visa eligible* Located
in *Caribou, ME* - 200m from Bangor, ME* Full time, permanent
opening* Employed position* Joining 2 OBGYNs & 2 CNMs* Full-time:
40 - 45 hours/week, including operating room time* Patients:
Community profile includes a sizeable population of women for whom
gynecological surgical procedures and urodynamic testing are
becoming increasingly important.* On-Call Rotation: 1:3* The leader
of deliveries, north of Bangor Maine, with over 200 deliveries
annually* High-risk mothers and neonates are referred for delivery
to Bangor* The Women's & Children's Health Center is located
downstairs, providing inside access within minutes to the
labor/delivery/postpartum unit of the hospital* OB unit and team
are award-winning and have a well-earned reputation as the warmest,
friendliest, and most desirable place to deliver babies north of
Bangor* Specialists available include urology, orthopedic and
general surgery, and ophthalmology* Access to outpatient clinics
including diabetes counseling and nutritional therapyJoin a
physician practice management organization with 40 physicians and
20 mid-level providers. The health system's Maine locations include
Caribou (3 offices), Presque Isle, Washburn, Fort Fairfield, and
Van Buren. In the fall of 2007, the practice was designated as a
Federally Qualified Health Center, providing enhanced access to
health care services for all members of the community, and allowing
the practice to employ providers holding H-1B and J-1
visas.Caribou, Maine, is the most northeastern city within the
United States and has a population of approximately 8,000 people.
