Job Description American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN Psychiatric for a travel nursing job in Lewiston, Maine. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Psychiatric - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – Psychiatric ER – Lewiston, ME 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 36 hrs/week Pay Package: - Taxable: $35/hr - Stipend: $1,246/week - Total Gross: $2,506/week Unit Overview: Join the Emergency Psychiatric Services Department at one of New England’s most comprehensive behavioral health facilities. The Crisis Psychiatric Unit provides care to patients ages 5 and up with acute psychiatric needs, including major depression, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorders, psychotic disorders, and patients seeking detox services. Some patients may also have concurrent medical needs. Role Highlights: - Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process - Develop and update individualized, interdisciplinary care plans - Evaluate patient outcomes and identify appropriate resources - Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary behavioral health team - Manage high?acuity psychiatric emergencies in a fast?paced setting ? Requirements: - Active Maine RN license - Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required - BLS certification required - CPI certification must be current prior to start - 1 year of mental health nursing experience (required) ? Skills Needed: - Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication - Excellent teamwork and collaboration - Ability to manage stress and make decisions under pressure - Flexibility to support 24/7 patient care needs ??
