Job Description:
Job Description Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate
and clinically strong Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (LADC
II) to join our growing dual-diagnosis inpatient behavioral health
treatment center. This role will provide individual and group
therapy to adults struggling with co-occurring substance use and
mental health disorders in a structured, team-based environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an LADC II who thrives in a
collaborative inpatient setting and is passionate about
evidence-based addiction treatment and integrated mental health
care. Experience in an inpatient or residential treatment setting
is strongly preferred. Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities: Provide individual, group, and family therapy
services to clients with co-occurring disorders Maintain an active
caseload in accordance with program standards Complete
biopsychosocial assessments and contribute to individualized
treatment planning Develop, implement, and regularly update
treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups utilizing
evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, MI, relapse prevention,
trauma-informed care) Conduct crisis intervention and risk
assessments as needed Document clinical services accurately and
timely in the EMR system Participate in case conferences, clinical
staffing, and multidisciplinary team meetings Support discharge
planning and coordination of aftercare services Maintain compliance
with state regulations, Joint Commission/CARF standards, and
internal policies Qualifications Required: Active LADC II license
in good standing Experience working with substance use disorders
Strong documentation and assessment skills Ability to manage a
clinical caseload in a structured inpatient environment Preferred:
Prior experience in an inpatient or residential treatment center
Experience working with co-occurring mental health disorders
Familiarity with ASAM criteria and levels of care Experience
facilitating group therapy Core Competencies Strong clinical
judgment and ethical decision-making Ability to work within a
multidisciplinary team (Medical, Nursing, Case Management, BHTs)
Crisis management and de-escalation skills Excellent written and
verbal communication Compassionate, client-centered approach Work
