Medical Assistant Location: Peterborough, NH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Profession: Medical Assistant / Licensed Vocational Nurse Specialty: Family Medicine Duration: Full-time Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated relevant experience in a medical setting License: Must maintain certification as a Medical Assistant Certifications: BLS Certification (AHA) Must-Have: - At least 2 years in a formal Medical Assistant curriculum or special training for Medical Assistants - Documentation of BLS Certification Description: The Certified Medical Assistant performs clinical support procedures under the direct supervision of the Office Nurse or Physician. This job description does not imply that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. The employee will be required to follow any other instructions and perform any other duties requested by their supervisor. The Medical Assistant should reflect, through personal appearance and attitudes, the professional nature of the office. Cleanliness, neatness, and the ability to handle stressful situations in a calm manner are required personal qualities for this position. A caring nature and genuine enjoyment of patients are also essential. Emotional stability is required due to the nature of the work involving the care of patients. Discretion and confidentiality related to the practice, its employees, and patients are necessary. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests, and any other procedures within the scope of MA certification. Assist the physician in examinations, which may include taking blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration. Keep rooms clean and stocked with necessary supplies. Take and return patient phone calls as directed by the physician. Give instructions to patients as instructed by the physician. Requisition supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock. Assist with the maintenance of the medical record, including completion of referral forms, lab slips, and other pertinent documentation as requested by the physician. Help patients get to and from exam rooms and prepare for exams as needed. Assist with any nursing procedure as directed by the physician. Work as a member of a team and remain flexible. Assist in other areas as requested by management or clinical coordinators, operating within the guidelines of MA certification.
