Nuclear Medicine Tech Location: Presque Isle, ME Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,866 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Nuclear Med Technician Profession: Nuclear Med Technician Specialty: Nuclear Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred, will accept travelers with 1 year experience License: State license required Certifications: BLS, NMTCB or ARRT (NM) required, Dosimeter (Dose reader badge) required Must-Have: Experience with various nuclear imaging scans Description: ASAP start needed. Simplified interviews with manager approval. Will cover PET imaging. Facilities have 3 nuclear medicine rooms including Gamma Camera, Stress Room, and PET CT. Patient types include emergency department, outpatient, and inpatient. Average patients seen per day is 8-10. When performing PET CT, only 5 patients can be seen per day. Required skills include experience with DEXA scans, cardiac scans, stress/rest tests, HIDA scans, renal scans, and bone scans. Support on the unit includes a lead technician and two technicians per shift. Radiologist is available on-site. Technology used includes Cerner EMR and Enterprise Imaging AGFA PACS. Equipment includes Siemens dual head camera and GE IQ PET CT. Scheduling will rotate start times between 0530-0700. Techs will work 8-10 hour days depending on the schedule. Scrub color can be any solid color as long as it is professional. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
