- Our ophthalmologists specialize in treating eye health problems,
such as dry eye syndrome, eyelid conditions such as blepharitis and
styes, cataracts, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma or macular
degeneration - Patients: Community profile includes a large cohort
of elderly patients with co-morbidities, extensive engagement with
middle school, high school, junior college and university athletic
programs - Qualifications: Board Certified or board eligible
Compensation and Benefits Information: - The successful candidate

if applicable. About Health System: - Physician practice management
organization with 30 physicians and 26 mid-level providers. The
health system's northern Maine locations include Caribou (3
offices), Presque Isle, Washburn, Fort Fairfield and Van Buren. In
the Fall of 2007, the practice was designated as a Federally
Qualified Health Center, providing enhanced access to health care
services for all members of the community, and allowing the
practice to employ providers holding H-1B and J-1 visas. In 2016,
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) awarded the
health system for Oral Health expansion. The HRSA grant award
improves and expands the delivery of oral health through our
services area which encompasses 22 towns across 900 square miles.
