Job Description:

Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgeon with breast surgery focus Full-time employed position Provide general surgery including elective and urgent procedures Perform breast procedures including lumpectomy, mastectomy, and sentinel lymph node biopsy Evaluate and manage benign and malignant breast disease Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities Multidisciplinary collaboration with oncology, radiology, pathology, and womens health Participation in tumor boards and cancer program initiatives Involvement in breast program development and quality initiatives Opportunity for teaching and mentoring Competitive base salary with productivity incentives Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance Comprehensive benefits including malpractice with tail, CME, retirement, and PTO MD or DO; Maine licensure eligible; breast surgery or surgical oncology training preferred Located near attractions including Rangeley Lakes region, Sugarloaf Mountain, and Acadia National Park Approximately 35 miles ( 40 minutes) to Portland and 140 miles ( 2.5 hours) to Boston
