Renowned vascular surgery practice in Fairfield County, Connecticut is seeking a physician assistant to join their growing team! This practice is one of preeminent vascular surgery groups in the entire country, offering groundbreaking vascular and endovascular services and specializing in the treatment of vascular anomalies.

Ideal candidates will have a background in vascular surgery and have experience working in inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings as a physician assistant. Candidates with vascular surgery clinical rotations or experience in other relevant fields will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Full-time permanent position - Vascular Surgery
• Monday-Friday schedule
• Collaborate with a strong team board-certified fellowship-trained vascular surgeons and work alongside a team of established APPs
• See patients in outpatient clinic setting for follow-up visits
• Act as first assist in hospital and OBL based surgeries and interventions
• Perform hospital rounding
• Diagnose and manage patients with vascular disease including performing procedures and providing optimal patient care from check-in to discharge
• Provide education and support to families

Qualifications:

• Connecticut Physician Assistant License
• BLS/ACLS Certified
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient with EMR systems
