OBGYN opening in Maine - visa eligible Located in Caribou, ME - 200m from Bangor, ME Full time, permanent opening Employed position Joining 2 OBGYNs & 2 CNMs Full-time: 40 - 45 hours/week, including operating room time Patients: Community profile includes a sizeable population of women for whom gynecological surgical procedures and urodynamic testing are becoming increasingly important. On-Call Rotation: 1:3 The leader of deliveries, north of Bangor Maine, with over 200 deliveries annually High-risk mothers and neonates are referred for delivery to Bangor The Women's & Children's Health Center is located downstairs, providing inside access within minutes to the labor/delivery/postpartum unit of the hospital OB unit and team are award-winning and have a well-earned reputation as the warmest, friendliest, and most desirable place to deliver babies north of Bangor Specialists available include urology, orthopedic and general surgery, and ophthalmology Access to outpatient clinics including diabetes counseling and nutritional therapyJoin a physician practice management organization with 40 physicians and 20 mid-level providers. The health system's Maine locations include Caribou (3 offices), Presque Isle, Washburn, Fort Fairfield, and Van Buren. In the fall of 2007, the practice was designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center, providing enhanced access to health care services for all members of the community, and allowing the practice to employ providers holding H-1B and J-1 visas.Caribou, Maine, is the most northeastern city within the United States and has a population of approximately 8,000 people.
