NP/PA Orthopedic Surgery opening: Augusta,
MELocated 55m to Portland Non-Operative Position
Details
- Full-time, permanent
- Office-only position
- Work closely with all the orthopaedic surgeons to provide
outpatient office based care to the full spectrum of orthopaedic
patients.
- In addition to pre-operative and postoperative care this
position will also staff an Immediate Access clinic seeing and
triaging acute orthopaedic injuries similar to Express Care
patients.
- Offices in both Augusta and Waterville and there will be office
days at both locations.
- The orthopaedic team currently consists of ten orthopaedic
surgeons in the subspecialties of total joint replacement, spine
surgery, hand surgery, sports surgery and orthopaedic trauma.
- There are also ten PAs and NPs in the department that work in
the office and OR assisting the surgeons and sharing call
responsibilities.
- This position however does not involve nighttime or weekend
hours and does not require call.
- We will offer, if needed depending on experience, educational
rotations through each orthopaedic subspecialty prior to
independent practice.
