across the United States. Job Summary: The Team Leader is an hourly
position that assists the department supervisor in all aspects of
the departmental operations and management while gaining experience
in supervisory skills and knowledge of the operations of the plant.
This position will interact with team members, the department
Supervisor, the Plant Manager, the other plant department
supervisors and the Sales and Marketing department. Interactions
with other company employees would be common. Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities: Training or experience in product production and quality
factors including training in HACCP and experience in the
principles and practices of G.M.P.; basic training or experience in
personnel oversight. Key Duties: Fill in and perform the duty of
any crew member in their department as required. View, print and
maintain production orders on the computer system. Complete
inventory reports, quality reports and any other paperwork required
in a timely and accurate fashion. Training of new employees in
specific tasks. Quality control checking of products throughout the
production department. Fills in for the Supervisor as needed. With
appropriate clothing you are comfortable working in a colder
environment. Due to the nature of seafood production the average
temperature in our plant is 38 degrees Fahrenheit and is wet during
